Uninvited Guest

I found an uninvited guest in the bathtub on Sunday morning:

Yep, that’s a black snake, about 3-1/2 feet long, taking a bath. Or, more accurately, trying to get out of the bath. Here’s a close up:

(The snake looks funny cause it’s slithering up the side of the tub.)

So, what did I do? I turned around, left the house, and went out for breakfast. When I returned, no snake. And once I put on work boots and jeans, I wasn’t too concerned.

I did see another snake that day. Presumably this same one, escaping the area:
